Instructions for Using Indole-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) Powder

Follow these steps to incorporate PCT’s IBA powder into your tissue culture media preparation:

1. Prepare the liquid tissue culture medium using PCT’s MS, DKW, or other suitable media, depending on your plant’s requirements.
2. Add sugar proportional to the volume of media being prepared (typically, 30 grams of sugar per liter), 1 ml/L PPM™, and 3-4 grams per liter of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per liter of agar.
3. Incorporate the desired amount of IBA from the pre-made IBA stock solution.
4. Sterilize the medium by autoclaving it for 20 minutes at 121℃ and 15 psi.
