The wide mouth lid is equipped with a Micropose injection port and a 0.22-micron air filter, facilitating optimal gas exchange while maintaining sterility. The self-healing injection port allows for repeated needle insertions, and the robust adhesive on the filter and port can withstand autoclave temperatures up to 120 Celsius (250F) at 15psi for prolonged periods.
